MTI Vision™ NT 3D is the state-0f-the-art high performance vision system for use in alignment and inspection on all MTI slicing systems. MTI Vision™ NT 3D uses the MS-Windows NT platform with its magnitude of capabilities and reliability. MTI Vision™ NT 3D is an accurate, high speed system for your imaging applications, allowing for easy retrofit or integration to any MTI machine system.

Fast and accurate algorithms used in
image processing software for:

Edge Detection: Finds the exact location of an edge or the center of a pair of edges. Displays live image graphical plots for accurate file set-ups.

Auto Focus: CNC controlled focus routines automatically adjust focus position for maximum optimal process flexibility.

Pattern Recognition: Provides true grey-scale correlation allowing the Process Engineer to teach and save any pattern. The system then scores the pattern within the field of view.

Chippage Size Detection: Inspects cut edge quality in user defined area and reports back average chip size, maximum chip size, and number of chips exceeding the user set threshold in ASCII data matrix format.

Optical Character Recognition: OCR application for alpha-numeric characters. Provides part tracking, inspection or process checking.

  • Optical resolution to 1/10th pixel.

  • With a 20x objective, the system produces a magnification of 600x resulting in a 0.4ym/pixel size or a system resolution of 0.04ym.

  • High quality optics assembly and camera. Simple objetive changes provide customer with optical power intechangeability.

  • Automatic control of lighting with CNC controlled camera iris.
