The MT 1030 Truing System is and off-line solution for maintaining the profile and rotational integrity of the diamond blade in both single and gang adaptations. Outfitted with a custom-formulated abrasive truing wheel, the MT 1030 is a semi-automatic cylindrical grinding machine designed to abrade ultra-thin diamond blades to their original cross-sectional shape, reducing cutting forces, while maintaining high quality cut edges and kerf geometry.
The MT 1030 features between-center mandrels designed specifically for hub or gang arbor mountings and diamond blade outer diameters from 2 to 6 inches.
Accurate and repeatable ‘course and ‘fine’ in-feed of the abrasive truing wheel and wheel head are controlled by a microprocessor and initiated by a single, manual switch located on the operator control panel. An anti-friction linear bearing slide design eliminates stiction throughout the full travel of in-feed to ensure repeatable and accurate feed increments from 0.000050 to 0.0005 inches.
