Designed for high volume, pass-through operations. The DSS 822 delivers unprecedented throughput, while maintaining the same cut quality, accuracy, and reliability of the MSS816 Gang Slicing Machine.
This advanced production system features front and rear cutting spindles for X and Y single pass gang cutting modes using up to 125 ultra-thin solid carbide or diamond cutting blades mounted on a single arbor. For pass-through operation parts are loaded into the front of the machine and unloaded from the rear of the machine upon completion of the programmed cutting cycle.
The DSS 822 precision and structural design combined with MTIVision™ NT 3D parts alignment and inspection software, and the power of GE Fanuc™ Control System with 17" flat panel LCD touch-screen monitor, along with MTI’s solid carbide, sintered, advanced electroplated, and resinoid diamond blade products, is ideally suited for singulating sintered IC ceramic packages and unfired Multi-layered Capacitor Chip (MLCC) substrates and is your complete solution for increased throughput, low cost of ownership, quality and yields, and, profitability.
